What is Toyohari Meridian Therapy?
toyo means East Asian
hari means needle but these do puncture the skin, ie. contact needling
meridians are channels that carrying energy throughout the body, creating a web
therapy: healing that feels good!

The aim of Meridian Therapy is to place the body in the best possible state of being for it to heal itself. What is that state? It is the state in which the flow qi in the 12 main meridians is balanced. There are very many effective Toyohari treatments for specific symptoms making it a wonderfully comprehensive health care.
Diagnosis is made by gently palpating the pulse and the meridians below the knees and elbows. Using the Toyohari needles pictured here, the flow of qi is augmented in infinitely adjustable doses.
Toyohari's signature needling approach uses gold, silver, and other metal needles that touch but don't penetrate the skin (contact needling). The painless and gentle needling is particularly suitable for sensitive patients, children, and the elderly.
If you would like to talk about how Toyohari Meridian Therapy may be beneficial to you, or simply to make an appointment, please be in touch via the contact form, by phone, text message, or email.
Toyohari techniques often produce profound results immediately, such as a deep relaxation of the whole body and reduced nervous tension, the release of tight, painful muscle groups, relief in breathing, or a clearing of the head, and eyes. Monica is truly grateful to be able to offer this profound, gentle and completely pain-free Meridian Therapy.

Flourishing Tides practices from within the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation. We recognise their sovereignty has never been ceded. We express our awe and gratitude to the Wurundjeri for the necessarily sustainable and sensitive manner with which they have cared for these lands. We acknowledge and pay respect to Wurundjeri people, who have employed therapeutic knowledge and practices on these lands for longer than can be fathomed. How wonderful it would be to enjoy a history that can be looked back on in tens of thousands of years from now that sees Aboriginal and new Australian reconciliation, truth telling, healing, and long, respectful, shared, rich healing traditions.
